Upcycle Couture Philosophy
Upcycle couture is an inclusive approach that brings together all alterations, tailoring, and garment transformations — ranging from simple refinements to fully reimagined, one-of-a-kind designs. Every piece begins with an existing garment and is thoughtfully custom fit, improved, or redesigned to extend its life and elevate how it feels to wear.

Custom Fit
This service may include recreating patterns from favorite garments, combining elements from multiple pieces, or designing something entirely new.

STEP 1
Style Identity
Every project begins with a conversation. We’ll talk through your garment, your goals, and your timeline —making sure we’re aligned before any work begins.
STEP 2
Design Thinking
From there, we look beyond fit. Proportion, movement, structure, and intent all guide how the garment should evolve.
STEP 3
Engineering the Fit
Through a focused, one-on-one fitting, the garment is carefully shaped using technical expertise, couture techniques, and an understanding of construction.
STEP 4
Refinement
Your piece remains in-studio while the work is completed with care and precision. Once finished, we’ll schedule a final fitting or pickup.

Meet the Designer
I am a certified Personal Stylist with an MFA in Costume Design, and an experienced tailor with a lifelong passion for sewing, design, and garment transformation. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to tailoring, pattern making, draping, and couture-level work, naturally gravitating toward pieces that carry meaning or potential.
My signature approach, Upcycle Couture, blends my skills and intuition: taking purchased, pre-loved, vintage, or sentimental garments and transforming them through custom fit, creative redesign, and elevated craftsmanship into one-of-a-kind, stylish pieces. What fuels my work is the thrill of reimagining clothing in ways that honor the garment’s past while making it feel entirely new — and helping each client look and feel their absolute best in pieces that are truly personal and unique.
